Facilitating Working Knowledge events

Andy is a lead facilitator for Working Knowledge. If you want your organisation to support and help young people develop, or you are a College wanting to bridge the gap between the world of education and the world of work, please read on.

Working Knowledge is a social enterprise that creates chances for young people to open doors into employment. It is passionate about providing opportunities for young people in Further Education to excel and be spotted by employers as the fresh talent of the future. By engaging employers in the full time curriculum Working Knowledge helps its partner colleges to shape learner destinations and prepare the next generation of young people for the world of work.

It offers its partner colleges a range of curriculum-led services that are aligned to Study Programmes and deliver meaningful work experience opportunities. Each service provides learners with evidenced work experience, enterprise and employability activities.

All of Working Knowledge services are fundable under the Study Programme and will enable Colleges to meet Ofsted requirements. Activities are suitable for learners of all ages (16+ to adult) and levels (1-3 including traineeships).
