Why we do what we do

Having enjoyed an exciting and highly progressive career to date, Divya has become very passionate about helping individuals, teams and businesses be the best they can be.  She is also excited by transformation and the possibilities that the value of a Human Resources function brings to truly driving performance through people.

Divya supports businesses at both an operational and strategic level whilst remaining commercial and a value adding partner. Overall, Divya’s priority is to evolve a culture that empowers all employees, enabling them to develop whilst creating a great place to work.  “It’s about creating the best possible employee experience which in turn impacts productivity… And I believe Human Resources is all about making sure we deliver just that”.

Experience

Since deciding to become a HR Management Consultant in 2016, Divya has worked with numerous businesses from many industries including high Tech, Luxury Cosmetics, Engineering, Audio Visual and Retail. More recently she has worked with PE backed businesses with significant transformation and value creation targets.  Not only have the the industries varied considerably, the roles Divya has fulfilled also vary from board level Chief People Officer; HR NED and ambassador of Coaching to name a few.  Remaining agile and flexible to business needs whilst deploying the right skills at the right time is something Divya has become highly experienced in due to her high energy and focus on results.

Divya and Andy have known each other since they first worked together in 2010.

Background

Divya draws on 20 years’ experience in Human Resources having progressed from a graduate in HR to Board Level within a number of major corporate brands. She studied Psychology and Sociology as a degree where her interest in employee behaviour began, and also holds a Masters degree in Human Resource Management. Divya also went onto become a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and is also an established Coach.

Getting personal

When she is not running after her two boys and very energetic dog, Divya runs for fun and really enjoys keeping fit and being outdoors. Living in a house of keen football fans, she’s improved her knowledge of the game but still doesn’t quite understand the off-side rule! However she has used this knowledge to volunteer at the local youth football club.
